Hello and welcome to Kendrixloves.com.  I enjoy makeup, nail polish, blogging, and photography.

I am not a beauty guru, just an ordinary girl who loves makeup and skin care.  I am obviously not a model, but I am still willing to show how makeup looks on myself because I find that it is more helpful to see it on a real person instead of a model or in an ad.  I want people to feel beautiful and confident just as they are.

I also find the experiences of real people to be invaluable when it comes to skin care and product reviews.  Everyone's skin is different but you can find clues to aid you with your own skin care even if the person has a completely different skin type than your own.  For example, if a person with dry skin says that a moisturizer is very hydrating then I know that it will probably be too heavy for me, a person with combination skin.  Conversely, if a person with oily skin says that a moisturizer is light and mattifying, then I know that it will probably not be hydrating enough for my combination skin.  Hopefully you can get value from my experiences and that they will help you make better decisions regarding products.

The evolution of beauty is fascinating to me and so I created a blog to keep track of my journey.  Follow along and you may find some useful things to apply to your own journey.
