Sephora Exclusive: Julep Smokey Pastels
During Sephora's last VIP sale, I purchased two of their exclusive Julep polish sets. The smokey pastel set includes Spring 2013s most popular color selections of the season.
Teri is not exclusive to Sephora and I actually got this color in one of the monthly maven boxes as part of the Playful Collection.

When I received these polishes, Rebecca was separating badly and will not blend together even with polish thinner; However, this has not effected application. Previous purchases of Julep polishes from Sephora have had separation issues and could be the result of old stock or poor storage. I would expect this from the older colors that are now available at Sephora, but since these are a new release it is disappointing.
For pastels, these polishes have a good amount of pigment. Mimi has noticeable shimmer in the bottle that does not really translate to the nail. The swatches are two coats of polish each.
In an earlier post about the Julep May Flowers collection I wondered how similar Teri was to Cody. Here are the swatches with Teri on the left and Cody on the right; They are both two coats swatched. While they are very similar, Teri is lighter and leans slightly more orange while Cody leans slightly more red. The difference is a nuance and I do not think you need both unless you are a hard-core collector like myself.
