Disney Villains Maleficent
The third Disney Villain in this collection is the Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
All of the products feature the same art style on the packaging.
Ardell false eyelashes featuring the Maleficent on the package.
The package includes three different false eyelashes with a tube of adhesive. There are instructions and ideas for looks on the back of the package.
The Maleficent Nail Art Kit by Kiss. The inside of the box shows a how-to for the nail art look shown on the cover in the lower right corner.
The package includes a flat brush, foil tape, nail art sheet (decorative stickers), faux rhinestone sticker sheet, green and black caviar beads, orange wood stick, Kiss Top Coat, and HD glitters in holographic white hexagons in fine light green glitter, turquoise holographic hexagons glitter, super fine moss green glitter, gold hexagons in fine gold glitter, fine pink multi-colored glitter, fine dark blue glitter.
When I say multi-colored glitter it means that these are mixtures where the main color is apparent but the various other colors are hard to decipher.
Scunci package includes seven "ponytailers" or hair ties "for your hair or wrist."
Maleficent Arm Party!
The Maleficent nail polishes (shown left to right) include:
Bubblegum Pink - a bubblegum pink creme
Gina Girl (typo?) - pink and purple glitters of various sizes in a dark purple base
Mod Mauve - a mauve creme
The Maleficent look book folds open to reveal the products and two different tutorials for day and night looks. The products included are a six pan eyeshadow compact, an eyeshadow brush, lengthening & defining mascara in black, liquid eyeliner in Black, mini eyeliner pencil in black, eyelid primer in sheer, and lip color in Maleficent. I believe that everything but the eyeshadow compact and the lip color are part of the e.l.f. permanent range. The lip color is true to the packaging and applies as a semi-sheer dark pink/berry color that is very similar to Evil Queen only not as bright.
A closer look at the eyeshadow shades in the compact.
I used the e.l.f. eyelid primer prior to swatching these shadows. When first applied the primer is quite orange but fades to clear.
Flora is a sheer shimmery light yellow gold. It would be good as a highlight shade. Fauna is a shimmery grey, and spell is a shimmery moss green color. It took a lot of layering to get proper pigmentation for these shades with spell having the best pigmentation.
Deep Sleep is a shimmery silver, thorns is a ash brown, and raven black is a matte black. It took a lot of layering to get proper pigmentation for these shades with thorns having the best pigmentation and application. The matte shade applied a bit patchy.
If you want the colors to appear more vivid, I would suggest using a white primer base.
