Sorry for the delay; I had meant to post this on Saturday but we had a family tragedy happen so...anyways...

I picked up a few more items from the Maybelline limited edition Summer 2013 collection including the two other bronzers in Glow and Matte and additional colors of the Color Sensational High Shine Lip Glosses.

Previously I had posted about there being eight colors released for summer but that is incorrect.  The confusion came about because colors that were left over from the spring collection are being displayed with the summer collection.  There are six colors from each collection for a total of 12 colors for spring and summer.

Maybelline Limited Edition Summer 2013 Color Sensational High Shine Lip Gloss

The summer beach collection "Summer 2013" colors are (shown in order):

The Color Sensational High Shine Lip Glosses give off a decent amount of pigment for lip gloss. I tested three shades which all went on smoothly and were neither drying or hydrating. They have no flavor but they do have an interesting scent, kind of like a fruity cocktail drink with rum in it. There is definitely a rum scent while applying the gloss, but once applied I could no longer smell it.  Striking Peach which was extremely sheer on me. It was barely noticeable on my lips other than the shine from the gloss. This color very fine sparkle in it which does not feel gritty on the lips. Nude Compliment has gold shimmer in it which is typical of nude glosses that are released for summer. It is still a very pretty color and will look nice with a tan. Rose Lust is my favorite of all the shades because it is the most pigmented plus it leaves behind a sheer stain. All 12 colors are labled limited edition.
