Lorac GloGetter Eye Shadow Palette

The last of my summer palettes is the GloGetter Eye Shadow Palette by Lorac which features bright hues for hot summer looks.

So first of all, did you notice that the pictures have changed slightly starting with "Clarins Splendours Summer Collection" post. I purchased a lighting kit to upgrade my photo quality. You can see the difference between the first two photos on this post. The first is without the kit, the second is with the kit. What do you think?

The palette features "8 vibrant matte and shimmer shades" and "2 over-sized" neutral shadows" for base and highlighting.  This palette is so bright and fun! Now, I have to come up with some fun eye looks before summer is officially over.

The eye shadows are super soft (only a tiny bit powdery);  I find that with Lorac eye shadows it helps to pat the color on rather than sweep it on to prevent fallout.  The pigmentation is fantastic, except for the base shadow shade which is almost the same shade as my skin, so it might look better on someone with a different skintone. I did not need to do much layering to get these babies to be true to pan color.

This palette is exclusive to Ulta and is apparently no longer available online. You might be able to find it in store.
