Three Sisters Apothecary Soap

It's the beginning of apple season and many local varieties are showing up at farmers markets. This soap showcases a certain local variety.

I happen to live in an area famous for it's Gravenstein Apples. There are parades and festivals all about these apples in my hometown. There happens to be a festival coming up this weekend called The Gravenstein Apple Fair; It's a great event for families and lots of farmers market type stuff so if you live nearby check it out.  Last year they had a baby camel in the petting zoo and they always have unlimited lemonade for $7; You can refill as many times as you can handle a 20 oz. lemonade. That's a lot of lemonade!

This soap was actually one of the only beauty products I could find that showcases the Gravenstein Apple.  It is made by local artisans Three Sisters Apothecary.  They also make products like body butter, bath salts, and lip balm.

The packaging on this product is cute and vintage; I love the cauldron! The clove scent is stronger than the apple scent but it's still quite nice and perfect for fall. The soap uses Shea butter, Lemon Balm, and Calendula to soothe and moisturize.

This colors in this soap make it perfect for a fall display in a guest bathroom. The texture is almost gel like, but still moisturizing for hands. It does not leave hands sticky because the ingredients soak in quickly.

While $7 may seem a bit pricey for hand soap I tell you it's worth it! If you think this is too much soap there is also a smaller version you can get from their Etsy store for $3.25. This soap is wonderful and I can't wait to purchase some of their bath salts.

You can find out more about Three Sisters Apothecary on their website: soapcauldron.com.

I purchased this soap at Oliver's Market but you can also purchase products from their Etsy store at etsy.com/shop/SoapCauldron.
