Disney Villains Ursula

Disney has once again released a collection of brand collaborations exclusively for Walgreens Drugstores featuring Disney Villains. The first of four villains is Ursula from Disney's The Little Mermaid.

The packaging designs feature the characters as stylized watercolor drawings. There is no mention of the artist.

The first product collaboration is with Ardell, the makers of false eyelashes.

The package includes three different false eyelashes with a tube of adhesive.  There are instructions and ideas for looks on the back of the package.

The second product collaboration is with Kiss, the makers of nail art products.  The inside of the box shows a how-to for the nail art look shown on the cover in the lower right corner.

The package includes a flat brush, foil tape, nail art sheet (decorative stickers), faux rhinestone sticker sheet, pink and blue caviar beads, orange wood stick, Kiss Top Coat, and HD glitters in green holographic diamonds (it looks blue in this picture), blue hexagons, mini white squares, turquoise hexagons, blue multi-colored glitter, fine purple multi-colored glitter.

When I say multi-colored glitter it means that these are mixtures where the main color is apparent but the various other colors are hard to decipher.

The third collaboration is with Scunci, the makers of decorative hair products.  The package includes seven "ponytailers" or hair ties "for your hair or wrist."

You can use these "ponytailers" to create an arm party ...

... or use them to make a ponytail like so.  It was actually difficult to make a ponytail with these because the elastic isn't very stretchy.

The fourth collaboration is with e.l.f., makers of cosmetics. They actually have two different products for this collection which include a face palette and a nail polish cube.

The nail polish set features all four Disney Villains, but I am going to show you the polish for each villain separately. There are three nail polishes for each villain.

The Ursula nail polishes (shown left to right) include: Coral Dream, Sea Escape, and Mint Cream.  It is hard to tell but Sea Escape is a turquoise glitter with a navy base.  The other two are pretty self explanatory.

The Ursula look book folds open to reveal the products and two different tutorials for day and night looks. The products included are a six pan eyeshadow compact, an eyeshadow brush, lengthening & defining mascara in black, liquid eyeliner in midnight, mini eyeliner pencil in black, eyelid primer in sheer, and lip color in Ursula.  I believe that everything but the eyeshadow compact and the lip color are part of the e.l.f. permanent range.  The lip color is true to the packaging and applies as a semi-sheer pink that is almost bubblegum pink but not that bright.

I used the e.l.f. eyelid primer prior to swatching these shadows. When first applied the primer is quite orange but fades to clear.

Coral looks like a champagne in the pan but is a sheer shimmery mauve.  Sea witch is a matte pink berry, and shell is a shimmery turquoise.  Shell had the best pigmentation and application.  Sea witch applied patchy and required layering to achieve pigmentation.

Kiss the girl is a shimmery bronze, triton is a matte medium purple, and bewitched is a matte navy.  Kiss the girl had the best pigmentation and application while the two matte shades went on patchy and thus required a lot of layering to achieve this amount of pigmentation.

If you want the colors to appear more vivid, I would suggest using a white primer base.
